Private Label Purchase Habits

Chicago-based CPG market research company IRI just released a study showing consumers still turning to private label products in a stable economy. Two-thirds of consumers plan to purchase private label more frequently in the coming six months. Among Millennials and lower-earning shoppers, three-quarters expect to buy more private label solutions during that time frame. The study revealed retailers such as Costco, Aldi, Lidl,, and online grocery retailer Brandless driving private label growth.
